How to burn up to 1000 kcals in one KB workout:
Published: Sat, 12/02/23
When it comes to our 21-day Holiday Kettlebell Shred Challenge, a common goal of the people who've signed up so far is to lose about 1.25% of their bodyweight each week.
So, if you're like me and weigh around 240 pounds, that adds up to 3 pounds per week, or a total of 9 pounds in just 21 days.
Not too bad!
Now, to achieve this goal, most folks will need to create a significant daily calorie deficit.
Dialing in the nutrition is obviously key, and is something I will help you with when you sign up for this Challenge.
But here's some good news: we can also burn a lot of extra calories each day with the proper KB workouts!
For example, here's a circuit that could burn up to 1000 calories in just under an hour. During each move, give it all you've got for 40 seconds, and then rest for 20 seconds before moving on to the next exercise.
Do a total of 8 rounds to burn up to 1000 kcals:
- Turkish get ups
- H2H KB swings
- KB hand elevated push ups
- KB rack squats
- KB single arm rows
- KB tactical lunges
- Push Ups
- KB Russian Twists
