Travis Kelce Kettlebell Workout

Are you ready for the Big Game tomorrow?
I'm headed back to KC today, but I'm on a layover in Vegas as I write this email, and you can sure feel the energy!!
Travis Kelce is one player suiting up tomorrow who has been in the spotlight more than ever over the last few months.
And for good reason!
He's one of the best to ever play his position. He's got a popular podcast with his bother Jason. He seems to be in every other commercial when you're watching an NFL game. And oh yeah - he's also dating Taylor Swift ;)
Interesting thing is, Kelce is 34 years old, which is getting up there for an NFL player!... yet he's still at the top of his game. So I looked a little more into his training routine, and I ran across an article in Men's Health where they detail his off-season workout routine.
A few of the keys to his success and longevity were:
- Focusing on the "small stuff" - muscle activation, stretching, moving well
- Focusing on all-around fitness - strength, speed, conditioning - to play an all-around position on the field, Tight End
- Focusing on trouble spots where he's had past injuries etc - like the shoulders
Sounds a lot to me like he's training to be an "Ageless Warrior"! ;)
I am a big believer in all the things he talked about in the article on his off-season training plan, and honestly I think they can be applied to any of us who want to perform and look great at any age.
