If you're struggling with body pain, or feel worn out from years of sports or lifting, you might want to build strength and lean muscle without having to lift heavier weights.
Good news - it can be done!

The big idea is to pre-exhaust the slow-twitch muscle fibers first, before getting into working the fast-twitch muscle fibers afterwards.
You see, getting stronger and gradually lifting heavier weights is the key to progressive overload. However, at a certain point the weights can become too heavy and pose a serious risk of injury. Anyone who's experienced in powerlifting, strongman competitions, or weightlifting will tell you all about it. The trick is to find a way to stimulate muscle growth without sustaining any injuries in the process.
