15 min “Gymless” Bodyweight + (optional) Kettlebell Circuit for Fat Loss
Published: Mon, 07/08/19

Today, we officially kick off our Summer 2019 “Freedom from the Gym” Challenge.
Application deadline extended due to the Holiday weekend! Details and apply here (48 hour extension) => Freedom from the Gym – 42 Day Challenge
We’ve had this idea of doing a bodyweight-plus-optional-kettlebell-hybrid program for a while – so excited to finally be getting it done.
Honestly, these workouts are a lot like what my summer time workouts would *typically* look like.
(I’m currently training for my first Spartan Ultra – it’s coming up at the end of Sept! – so my current training schedule looks a little different, but that’s a story for another day ..)
Typically though, summer schedule is a little different than it is in the Fall or Spring.
Kids are off school, so the daily schedule is different … we usually take a week or so off and vacation at some point in June, July, or August … we probably end up taking a couple of three day weekends in that same time period to do something fun … plus, the weather in California is great, so I like to get outside, and take advantage of it!
So the workouts end up being largely bodyweight-based, with a little bit of kettlebell mixed in.
You can train for fat loss, get into great condition, and even build strength and lean muscle with these.
Here is a sample, from week 1:

OR KB Goblet Split Squat – 8/ea
2 – BW Renegade Rows – 8 each side
OR KB Single arm renegade rows

Now.
When you’re in the Challenge, we have demo videos for all the exercises.
We provide recommended weights for each move.
You’ll also have a warm up, and finisher, and cool down portion of each workout.
You’ll have extra HIIT workouts for your “off” days.
You check in after every workout in our private group to keep you on track.
We even keep tabs on everyone in the Challenge, and check in with YOU if fall off!
But this sample workout gives you an idea.
If you want to get in on the Challenge, we’ve decided to extend the deadline to apply by 48 hours, because of the Holiday weekend.
A lot of folks were out and about and away from their email … and after several requests to extend … we’re going to go ahead and do it for everyone.
