Marathon vs Sprinter Body (pic inside)

I played college football at a smaller school.

So, at the time, we shared our training facilities with several other teams.

And I remember seeing both the sprinters and the distance runners practicing every day during their season, while we were in the weight room lifting weights.

I got to experience first-hand seeing the difference in the type of physique that each type of training ended up producing.

No joke, the pictures below are pretty accurate (elite marathon runner on the left, elite sprinter on the right):

And honestly – think about people you know that do different types of training.

A lot of folks – and I hate to say this, but it’s true – that are recreational distance runners, don’t necessarily look to be in the greatest shape.

I understand that they may be “fit”, in terms of cardiovascular health. I am not arguing that.

But I feel like if you saw a lot of them walking down the street, you might not even know they work out.

Now think about the people you know that do a healthy amount of strength work, and also do high-intensity workouts.

The transformation stories on our website at ForestVanceTraining.com are a good example!

As a whole, their physiques are much more impressive, right?

They are lean, muscular, powerful, and strong-looking.

You can tell they work out!

SO.

When it comes to your ultimate physique goals, this is something to think about.

How do you want to perform AND look, as a result of your workouts?

And then, train accordingly!
