The 80/20 Strength Challenge

If you do the right things, it doesn’t take much to get great results in fitness.
Sure, you can complicate things with complex periodization plans, two hour workouts, and thousands of exercises ...
... but you don’t need to.
The 80/20 Strength Challenge can show you how.
All you need is 4 exercises. Well, four exercise groups.
The variations are there so that you can make progress and so that this works for beginners to advanced people.
Understand that the main failing of most workout programs is not having PROGRESS built in.
And without progress you’re basically running like a hamster on a wheel.
There are lots of great exercises, but for this program Logan choose the following four:
1 - From pushups to handstand pushups – Nothing will build better upper body pressing strength, not to mention coordination and balance
2 - From inverted rows to pullups – Engage those upper body pulling muscles and build up to a move that, unfortunately, stops many people
3 - From bodyweight to weighted squats – Nothing builds leg strength like squats. But here the focus is on flexibility as much as strength. Most people need work on both
4 - From hanging knee to hanging leg raises – Build a strong and flexible core that can both move and support you. (Bonus, this helps your grip a lot too!)
I know you may be reading those and think I can’t do any of them!
The fact is there are regressions that just about anybody can do.
Then these four exercises, whatever the variation, are done in two supersets, that is going back and forth between exercises. This way you get your strength and cardio done at the same time.
You do not need an hour long resistance training session. And you definitely do not need to spend time on a treadmill.
Combined properly you can get a lot of bang for your buck.
This even builds flexibility without needing to do any stretching either.
By understanding and using these principles, The 80/20 Strength Challenge only takes a single hour per week.
Does it cover absolutely everything you could ever need? No.
But if you want the basics in a way that will continue to work even better over time, this is it.
