How I Destroyed (then reconstructed) my Testosterone

Published: Fri, 07/23/21

I turned 40 on April 16th of this year, and decided a few months beforehand that I would set a goal to get into top shape.

I dieted and trained pretty intensely from the beginning of the year, right up to my birthday - a solid 15 weeks.

I ended up dropping around 15 lbs, going from probably 17 or 18 percent body fat, to probably 11 or 12 at the end of that whole ordeal (lol).

In all seriousness, I was very happy with the results - I got into probably the best overall shape of my life, and got those visible abs I had wanted for years!

Honestly the only main drawback of the whole thing - besides being hungry and uncomfortable for pretty much the entire final four or six week stretch - was that I tanked my testosterone levels.

It's funny, because I didn't really get THAT lean. 11 or 12 percent bodyfat is a far cry from the the say 4-6 percent a physique competitor might get to for a show.  But I think it was the extended calorie deficit, the extra training time, along with my age, that did it.

I had a whole host of issues:

- Decreased energy
- Decreased focus
- Trouble sleeping
- Increased aches and pains
- Decreased "performance" (guys - you know what I'm talking about)

This was confirmed with a visit to the doc and getting my T-levels checked - I was in the 200's, which is on the very low end of the "normal" range.

When I realized what was going on, I decided I needed to do some things to get back on track. And I wanted to go the "natural" route if at all possible (putting off the TRT etc as long as possible!)

I picked just a handful of strategies outlined at the link below:

-> Upgrade your testosterone

I was actually surprised, because it made a HUGE difference. Within three or four weeks, I had better focus, energy, and performance.  I took a home T-test, and my levels were up to more than double what they were at the lowest!

If you are experiencing any of the symptoms outlined above and would like to fix it the natural way, I highly recommend you give this a try:

-> Upgrade your testosterone

Let me know how it goes for you, okay?

Here's to higher test levels ASAP! -
