It's based around a method that I actually first learned long ago - as part of my very first personal training certification in 2004! - called "Peripheral Heart Action" training.
It’s unique because it focuses on alternating upper and lower body exercises with minimal to no rest between moves. This forces blood to quickly circulate through the body, increasing caloric expenditure, and is also theorized to decrease body fat increase lean muscle mass.
It’s like circuit training on steroids! :)
I loved the results I got from this training style, but I’ve never really seen this method applied specifically to Kettlebell training. So, we tested it with some of our groups at our Sacramento, CA kettlebell studio, and people loved the results!
With shorter workouts than ever before, they were getting in better condition and seeing more body composition changes - not to mention carryover to sports and other activities that they are involved in.
So I decided to write up a 28-day training plan and open it up for not only people here in Sacramento, but all over the world!
