KBs for Abs: Sample Workout! – “Rippers”

I was chatting with a client recently who said their #1 "problem area" was the midsection.

They had tried all kinds of things to strengthen their abs and get a flatter stomach, but they were frustrated, because nothing seemed to work.

I suggested that they try a kettlebell-focused "abs specialization" program. This is something the vast majority of people have NOT done - it's not just an extra ab exercise here or there... it's a full training plan, designed with the specific focus of working the abs as the main priority for the training cycle. That's what we're doing in our upcoming 28-day KBs for Abs Challenge. Here is a sample workout from the plan (this is just a small part of a larger, longer training session):

3 exercises, :30 each, :15 rest between moves, 3 rounds total:

– Bear Plank KB Drag-Thru

– KB Foot Taps

– Side Plank w/ Hip Dip
