Muscle does NOT equal Strength

A lot of people equate the following:

Muscle = Strength

But it is not true.

We’ve all heard about massive bodybuilders that can’t lift much, or on the flip side, the wiry strongman, whose strength was unbelievable.

There is a lot more to strength than just muscle size.

One of the biggest components is your nervous system.

Let’s say you want to pick up a kettlebell off of the floor and put it overhead.

This first forms as an idea in your mind. That idea itself can have a lot of  “baggage.”

Like thoughts about how heavy it is, how you’ve failed to do it in the past, how you’re feeling tired today.

Or it can be much more positive. Something along the lines of - “That’s just a light kettlebell. I can do it easily.”

Once you have the idea, you get ready, and your nervous system fires. These signals travel down the nerve cells until they finally arrive at the muscles, causing them to contract.

That is how strength is transmitted.

Sure, if the muscle is bigger, from more muscle cells, it might be stronger. But some hypertrophy just increases the size of the cells, without necessarily making them any stronger.

You see, your strength really depends on the nervous system. And that in turn starts with the idea in your mind.

That is how hypnosis is one method in which you can become stronger, sometimes instantly. All because of how it affects your mind and nervous system.

That’s why you should check this out.

PS - One of my favorite testimonials on that page is:

“I feel like the soundtracks have really helped me. I’ve only been using the soundtrack for 7 days straight, and I’ve noticed big improvements in my recovery and strength, particularly in my handstand push ups where I could finally go over 10 reps. My arms kinda got numb practicing a tuck back lever the other day, feels like my mind got stronger to the point my muscles and other connective tissues have a bit of catching up to do. I really like it and will continue using it.”

That just shows you how powerful this can be!
