... returned to my work station, and had gotten a half dozen messages back saying that people were trying to purchase the program, but that my system wasn't taking their payment!

I sincerely apologize, and the problem should now be fixed.

I had my payment processing system in "test" mode, and made a test purchase myself before sending a message about the sale (which I always do) ...

... and I forgot to switch it back over to "live" mode before sending out the official announcement!

How embarrassing :)
