I bring it up though mainly because, yesterday was the last day, I am back to “normal” eating now … but Monday through Friday of this last week, ALL I ATE was:

– plain oatmeal
– beans
– rice

And ALL I drank was water.

NO other foods, minimal seasonings in the food, NO coffee or tea or beers etc … and it was TOUGH.

A lot harder than I thought it would be to be honest!

I found myself lower energy, less able to focus, and just operating at a less-than-optimal level.

We did it to raise awareness re: world hunger and extreme poverty, and to support Tearfund in their efforts to fight it. So it was well worth it.

But my point is that if you are not getting quality sleep, this is another thing that could be impacting your life – maybe making YOU operate at a less-than-optimal level – and you might not even realize it.
